We specialise in activating new spaces. Our feasibility assessments analyse the available access routes and transport options to help inform event capacities and formats. We have done this for a number of high profile sites in both metropolitan and rural areas, with the resulting management systems forming the template for event delivery.
We take a combined approach to planning traffic, transport and pedestrian management systems. We start by surveying the location, with a focus on the capacity of available transport networks. From our findings we are able to model crowd and vehicle movements, forecast modal shares and dispersal times, and propose a comms strategy for stakeholders. Our planning documents are clear but thorough, and developed in consultation with key stakeholders.
We prioritise working closely with local authorities, agencies and other key stakeholders. Our approach is built around early consultation and open communication throughout the planning process to ensure that plans are clearly presented and that the needs of all stakeholders are met. We are well-positioned to lead on these communications on behalf of our clients, engaging with local authorities, transport partners, local residents and businesses.
We work with event organisers and venues to support licence and planning applications. We have helped facilitate first use applications for some of the most challenging sites in the UK; developing comprehensive plans in line with policy guidance and formally presenting to local authorities and licencing committees.
We design and deliver robust traffic management schemes. These services range from producing traffic management plans (from complex multi-phase schemes to single designs), drafting CAD drawings and signage plans, traffic order applications, through to auditing and monitoring existing schemes on behalf of local authorities.
We support events, venues and local authorities by reviewing temporary traffic management schemes and offering a range of project related services including the management of working groups, documentation preparation and stakeholder presentations.
